We’ve Relaunched!

relaunch

We are Hermophobia no more.

As the podcast has evolved into something different that it was when we started, we have chosen to reflect that change by launching a new site and taking a new name.

we are now

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly Films

http://www.goodbaduglyfilms.com/

We are now doing two podcasts a week; one being a weekly discussion of current movie and video news and reviews, the second continuing our exploration of individual years in film.

Ross has joined the site and has been continuing to inject things with his insight and film knowledge, as well as regularly contributing written reviews of both video and theatrical releases.

Everyone is contributing blog posts as well…

We are having a great time starting over, so come join us! (Oh, and making comments is even easier than ever too! ¦¬))

Thank you for supporting Hermophobia, and we hope to hear from you at http://www.goodbaduglyfilms.com/ too!

Thanks,

-Allen

Hermophobia #30: The Movies of 1982 – Part Two

Mark, Ross & Allen further explore the films of 1982 in a new segment they call “The Good, The Bad & The Ugly” which causes some debate about what was really a bad film in 1982. (It seems Allen liked a lot of “ugly” movies!)

 1982-2

New Segment: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly GBU

The Good: Movies that didn’t  make our Top 5 lists,  but not necessarily #6 - #10 either. These are good films that deserve some attention for one reason or another.

The Bad: These could be films that fell short of their potential, or something else altogether – a bad soundtrack, a poor performance, a terrible trend… or perhaps just a guilty pleasure we acknowledge is not a good movie.

The Ugly: The worst of the worst! U-G-L-Y, it ain’t got no alibi!
